Descendant of the Mayflower Pilgrimage Voyage of 1620

Some information regarding the Townsend Family comes from Ancestry.com and census records and the book:
The Brewster Genealogy, 1566-1907: A Record of the Descendants of William Brewster of the "Mayflower", Ruling Elder of the Pilgrim Church which Founded Plymouth Colony in 1620, Volume 1, Part 2 (Google eBook)

Mary Ann Brewster is the daughter of Nathaniel O. Brewster and Delight Winchester Brewster both born in Vermont. Known siblings of Mary Ann are: Harriet,Loretta, Orson, and Emily. The 1850 census finds the Brewster family in Dresden, Washington Co., New York. I have not located them in 1860, Mary Ann's mother Delight died Sept 1860 so perhaps the rest of the family was in route to Minnesota when the census was taken. It is stated that Mary Ann and Robert Townsend married in Richfield, Minnesota in June of 1861 and Nathaniel Brewster is living with Mary Ann and Robert Townsend in 1870 just prior to his death in 1871 in Richfield, Minnesota.

Minnesota death index states Mary Ann's name at death is:
Mary Ann Townsend Benton. Mary Ann married Waldo Goodrich Benton in 1906 after Robert's death. Waldo died April 15, 1910 and is buried at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Mn. She is buried next to Robert Townsend and she is called wife of Robert. Thus I will not include the last married name of Benton in her memorial.

Children:
1. Loretta T. 1864-1940 [husband Frank Talbot]
2. Ida May 1866-1938
3. Nellie Delight 1871-1920 [husband Nathan M Moore]
4. Robert Henry 1880-1891 "Harry".
