C. HOMER SWEEBE DIES AT 65

C. Homer Sweebe, 65, of 3207 East Gordonville Road, died Friday night at Midland Hospital where he had been a patient for one month.

Mr. Sweebe, was born May 14, 1906, at Wood County, Ohio, and had been in the Midland community since 1911. He married Margaret Schaefer Nov. 29, 1933, at Midland. A bricklayer by trade, he was a member of UMWA and BMPIU, local 7.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; five sons, Lawrence, John, Jerry, Neal and Chris all of Midland area. four daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Betty June) Jacobs, Mrs. Lloyd (Sara) Krotzer, and Mrs. Darryl (Fran) Hahn, all of Midland, and Mrs. Dale (Sandra) Demski of Sandusky, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; two brothers E. R. (Dick) Sweebe, of Midland and Elmer Sweebe of Sanford; two sisters, Mrs. Lura Ridey and Mrs Elwood Smith, both of Midand.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday from the Miner-Bradley Funeral Home with burial in Midland Memorial Cemetery Gardens. Rev. Veryl Roth, of Our Redeemer Mennonite Church which Mr. Sweebe attended, will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
