Mrs. Edna Fae Mudd, 50, wife of Wilbur C. Mudd, 615 East Carpenter, died about 1:45 p.m. Friday at her home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1897, in Wood County, Ohio, and was married in Midland, May 14, 1916 to Mr. Mudd. She came to Midland County in 1910 from Wood County and she and her husband had lived in Homer Township until 1935 when they moved to Midland. She was a member of the Homer Methodist Church the WSCS and she was also a member of the Roseann Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Carl R. Mudd of midland; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Hawley, Mrs. Carl Schwartz and Mrs. J. C. Baldwin, all of Midland; five brothers, William Sweebe, Sr., Ray, Elmer and Homer Sweebe, all of Midland, and Clayton of Mt. Pleasant; four sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Irelan, Mrs. Eugene Ridey, Mrs. Clarence Mudd and Mrs. Elwood Smith, all of Midland, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wilson Memorial chapel with Dr. Orville H. McKay of the First Methodist Church , and the Rev.John W. Simpson of the Homer Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Midland Cemetery.
