Mrs. Emma M. Irelan, 82, of 713 Irelan Lane, died Thursday at a Saginaw nursing home.
the former Emma Sweebe was born Feb. 4, 1889, in Wood County, Ohio. She married Lawrence Irelan in 1905 in Ohio. The couple moved to Midland in 1909. Mrs. Irelan was lifelong member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Lucille Moe and Mrs. Florence Yager, both of Midland, and Elmer Sweebe of Sanford; two sisters, Mrs. Lura Ridey and Mrs. Elwood Smith, both of Midland; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Scott-Wilson Memorial Chapel with the Rev. E. B. Woiril officiating. Burial will be in Homer Township cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
