Myrtle Thelma Hermanson was born April 12, 1919, in Milnor, N.D., where she grew up and graduated from high school. On Sept. 1, 1937, she married Henry Dahl in Britton, S.D. In 1958 they moved to Minnesota and farmed. She entered the nursing home in 1996. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons, Harlan, Long Lake, S.D., John, Paynesville, Minn., Charles, Dent, Minn., Harold (Lisa), Vergas; six daughters, Regena (Robert) Kaldahl, Hoyt Lakes, Minn., Emily Ruth (Julian) Braaten, Kindred, N.D., Candace Malm, Park Rapids, Minn., Marlys (Jim) Perry, Jamestown, N.D., Helen (Raymond) Osterman, Glendive, Mont., Carla (Mark) Schultz, Dent; a sister, Nellie (Hank) Freiberger, Kiowa, Texas; 38 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
