Birttie Jane Daniel, 88, Grey Fox Court, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at her home of natural causes.
Services were at 11 a.m. today at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with the Revs. Don Cottrell and Larry Dale Combs officiating. Burial will be in Bainbridge Grove Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Fulerton, she was born Feb. 24, 1921, the daughter of the late Noah and Sela Moore Steele.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church, where she played the piano for 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Daniel, in 2004.
Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda McCord and Janice Goodwin, both of Hopkinsville, and Carol Rieg, Canon City, Colo.; a sister, Ellen Boyd, Cadiz; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
