Norman Nelson Castle passed away Feb. 8 at Canton Community Hospital where he had been receiving treatment.

Mr. Castle was born in Hopkinton, son of the late Willard and Ella Castle. He was married to Miss Hannah Cobb, who passed away about thirty years ago. He married for his second wife Miss Lottie Ella Wilson Aug. 22, 1914, in Parishville. Two children were born to them who died in infancy. For several years they lived around Parishville. About eight years ago they moved to Rensselaer Falls. In June, 1941, they moved to Canton, where they have lived since. He has been in health for about three years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Norman Castle; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Shampo of Nicholville, and Mrs. Nina Angus of Dexter; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the E. E. O'Leary Funeral Parlors Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 1:45, Rev. W. S. Dobbie officiating. Interment in Parishville Center.

The remains of Norman Castle of Canton were brought here last Wednesday for interment in Chapel Hill cemetery. Mr. Castle was a former Parishville resident.
