Agnes MacLachlan, 88, Rocky Comfort, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at a Granby nursing home after an illness.

Mrs. MacLachlan was born March 22, 1909, at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She moved to Rocky Comfort area 20 years ago from Bedford Heights, Ohio. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Prosperity Southern Baptist Church, Rocky Comfort.

She married James C. MacLachlan on Oct. 28, 1927. He died in 1966.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Leitch, Rocky Comfort; a brother, James Aaron, Wilkes-Barre; two grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rocky Comfort Cemetery. The Rev. John Bowman will officiate.
