Mrs Leitch was the daughter of Agnes Aaron & James C MacLachlan. She married David on 27 Nov 1964. She grew up in Lakewood, graduating from John Adams High School. They moved to Rocky Comfort in 1970. She was employed as a secretary at Rocky Comfort School before she began working for Newton County Division of Family Services as a clerk typist. She retired in 1999. She also helped out at the Wheaton Funeral Home when she could, mostly in the administrative capacity. She was a member of Prosperity Southern Baptist Church, Newcomers, Neosho Laureate Gamma Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Fern Chapter of the Eastern Star, Sugar Babies of R C Red Hatters, Wheaton Senior Citizens, Cassville Senior Center, & Freeman/Neosho Hospital Volunteer.

Surviving are kids: Brian w/wife Danielle & Laurie Bennett w/husband Gene; grkids: Jacob, Hailey, Bradley, Brianne & Joseph; grgrkids Levi, Ian & A J
