A native of Colorado, he was born in Loma, March 28, 1908. He farmed south of Greeley for many years, and served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II.
He was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Survivors include three sisters; Mrs. Kate Shmunk of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Elizabeth Stram of Lisbon, N.D.; and Mrs. Fred Stencel of Camas, Wash.; and three nephews, Edward and Herman Dorn, both of Greeley, and Daniel Dorn of Gill.
He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Katherine Dorn of Greeley.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
