HOLTON - Helen L. McBroom, 74, Holton died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at her home. Survivors include two sons, Robert Dale McBroom, of Holton, and James Michael McBroom, of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Cora M. Rathert, of Valley Falls, and Doris J. Sabo and Judith I. Hedden, both of Topeka; two brothers, Charles R. Abramson, of Holton, and Leslie E. “Gene” Abramson, of Surfside Beach, S.C.; and one granddaughter. Graveside services for Mrs. McBroom will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Larkinburg Cemetery. She will lie in state after noon today at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, where family visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be given to the Larkinburg Ladies Aide.
