Henriette was born in Île-Dupas, Berthier Co., Québec on July 26, 1808 and baptized as "Marie Henry Farly" on the same day in the parish of Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier. Her godparents were Joseph Brisset and her aunt, Marie Celeste Masson. On January 8, 1833, in the parish of La Visitation-de-Île-Dupas, Henriette Farly married Louis Gonzague Neveu, son of Amable Neveu and Geneviève Baril. Gonzague was born St-Cuthbert, Berthier Co., Québec on October 6, 1804 and was baptized as "Louis Gonzaque Neveu" on the same day in the Parish of St-Cuthbert. His godparents were Alexis Neveu, his uncle, and Catherine Baril, wife of Jean Baptiste Hubert and the child's aunt. Henriette died in Kildare, Joliette Co., on February 3, 1849 at the age of 42, and was buried in the cemetery of the Parish of St-Ambroise on the 6th. Gonzague died in Kildare, Joliette Co., Québec on May 1, 1884 at the age of 79 yrs. and 3 mos., and was buried in the cemetery of the Parish of St-Ambroise on the 5th. The couple is known to have had 6 children.
