Mrs. Annie Boyd Hooker, 91, retired Edwards school teacher, died of cardiac arrest Tuesday, Jan 24 1989, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 from Edwards Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Edwards Cemetery.
Mrs. Hooker, a Carroll County native, had lived in Edwards since 1936. She was a member of Edwards Presbyterian Church and a Sunday School teacher for 52 years.
She is survived by a sister, Mattie McEachern of Vaiden, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were John Hooker, Grice Hooker, Scott Hooker, W Hooker, David Turbeville and John Turbeville. Fisher Funeral Home of Vicksburg was in charge of arrangements.
