Mrs. Kerns was born Nov. 28, 1911 at Billings, Mont. She went with her parents to Mitchell, Neb., when a child and was raised there.
She then moved to Fort Collins and moved to Greeley area in 1929.
On Dec. 31, 1930 she was married to David Kerns at Brighton. They farmed in the Barnesville Community until June of this year when they retired and moved here.
Mrs. Kerns was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church and Barnesville Community Club.
She is survived by her husband and three children. She was the mother of Mrs. Shirley Lorraine Miller, Gill; Mrs. Marion Elizabeth Benson, Greeley; LeRoy Donald Kerns, Greely.
Mrs. Kerns was the daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Bauer of Greeley. Sister of Henry and Fred Bauer, Mrs. Kathryn Anderson, all of Greeley; Miss Esther Bauer, Grand Junction; Mrs. Emma Kadwalters, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Amelia Altergott, Fort Collins.
Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Services 3:00 p.m. Monday, St. Paul's Congregational Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. Adamson Mortuary is in charge of arrangments.
