Robert was the son of Edward Hake and Sarah Miller. Robert married Josephine Gurreri on 2 December 1950 in York. Josephine was the daughter of Baldassare "William" Gurreri and Rosella Terrasi.

"Nuptials for Josephine Gurreri, daughter of Mrs. Rosella Gurreri, 207 South Beaver street, and Robert L. Hake, son of Mr. end Mrs. Edward Hake, York, RD 1, were solemnized in a double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. Thomas J. Mc-Gough in St. Patricks rectory.

Escorted by her brother, Joseph Gurreri, the bride chose a princess style white satin gown trimmed in lace with finger-tip sleeves. Her crown of seeded pearls ended in a finger-tip veil and she carried a bouquet of colonial lilies.

Stella Gurreri, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. She was dressed in an olive green gown with a stand-up collar. Her bouquet was of yellow carnations. Best man was Eugene Decker, York, RD 1.

Following a reception at Biermans restaurant for 150 guests, the couple left on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada. The couple will reside at the home of the bridegroom. The bride attended York Catholic High school and is employed by Jayson-York, Inc. The bridegroom attended William Penn Senior High school and K5 employed by American Wire Fabrics -Co., Mt. Wolf."

"Robert L Hake DOVER — Robert L Hake 54 formerly of Dover RD 3 died Monday morning at the home of his daughter Yvonne M Miller 380 Gwen Drive.

Mr Hake was born in West Manchester Township and was the son of the late Edward and Sarah Miller Hake. He was a group leader in the receiving department of Precision Components Corp. Mr Hake served in the National Guard during the Korean War He was a member of Shiloh Post American Legion the Veterans of Foreign Wars Home Association Wago Club Local 1403 International Association of Machinists and Wild Water Rafting Club

Survivors include: A daughter — Lori A Hake 400 E Princess St Three sons — Steven A Hake at home David A Hake 303 N Newberry St and Robert T Folk York RD 4 Seven grandchildren.

Four brothers — Wilbur E Hake 1050 Angus Lane, Spurgeon L Hake Mt Wolf RD 1, Loren C Hake 829 E Philadelphia St and Milton Hake 1535 Carlisle Ave.

Three sisters — Helena H Hill 857 Wayne Ave, Odell H Poff Red Lion RD 4 and Edith Hamme 1175 Fairview Drive.

The viewing will be 7 to 9 pm today at Etzweiler Funeral Home 1111 E Market St Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Wednesday at the Church of the Open Door 8 Carlisle Court Shiloh The Rev William J Hampton pastor assisted by the Rev James A Roche Jr associate pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of York Inc 27 N Queen St York Pa 17403"
