Mrs. Hale had resided in the Whiteford area for the past 42 years.
She is survived by five children, Harold J. Hale, Swanson Hale, and Roger Hale, all of Whiteford, Betty Dawson of Granite City, Ill., and Lucy Cullum of Street, ten grandchildren; three brothers, Fields Hackler of Elk Creek, Va., Raymond Hackler of Efland, N.C., and Ralph Hackler of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Delp of Elk Creek, Va., and Mrs. Clyde Comer of Whiteford.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Feb. 26, at 2:30 p.m. in the Harkins Funeral Home, Delta, Pa., with the Rev. F. Lee Cutair of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Darlington, officiating. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Austin Rowan, Elmer Bennington, Levi Cooper, Worley Comer, Garnett Wolfe and Page Hodge.
