Magdalene Dahme, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dahme of Highland township passed away at New Ulm, Minn., where the young woman was attending the "Dr." Martin Luther College, where she was fitting herself for Christian work which she intended to follow.

The young woman was taken ill about 10 days ago with a severe cold, complications setting in, causing death which occurred at 1:40 Monday morning. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dahme and her sister, Mrs. Will Ristau of Mansfield were at her bedside. The deceased was born January 24, 1903 at Highland township where she grew to young womanhood. After her high school education she took four years at the Northern Normal also having taught four years in rural schools, leaving in September for New Ulm. She was a most conscientious, kind and loving daughter and sister, and her demise has brought great sorrow to her family and many friends.

She leaves to mourn besides her parents, three brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Pinkert of Big Stone, S.D., Mrs. Clemens Berwald of Bertha Minn., Arthur Dahme, Mrs. Alvin Angerhofer, Mrs. Wm. Ristau, August Dahme and Ernest Dahme, all living in the home vicinity.

The body arrived this noon over the Northwestern, accompanied by her parents and sister and was taken to the Huebl Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 o'clock from Highland township church. Interment will be at Highland township cemetery with Rev. Wm. Erb officiating.
