TRAIN VICTIM'S RITES THURSDAY
FUNERAL FOR ARTHUR DAHME WILL BE IN LUTHERAN CHURCH OF HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP

Thursday at 2:30 p.m., funeral services for Arthur B. Dahme, Brown county farmer who was killed when his car collided with a Milwaukee train near Andover Monday, will be conducted from the St. John's Lutheran church of Highland township.

A prayer service at 1:30 p.m., at the Huebl chapel will precede the funeral. Rev. F.T. Eggert will officiate.

Mr. Dahme, respected by a wide circle of friends, was born August 8, 1899, in Highland township, where he has spent his entire life. October 5, 1915, he was married to Magdalena Ristau also of Brown county. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran church of Highland township. Mr. Dahme was a man well known and highly respected by his many friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Magdalena Dahme, two sons and three daughters, Margarette, Irma, Harvey, Leonore and Norman, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dahme, of Mina; two brothers, August and Ernest Dahme, of Mina; four sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Pinker, of Bigstone, So. Dak.; Mrs. Alvin Angerhofer of Aberdeen; Mrs. Clemens Berwald of Bertha, Minn.; and Mrs. William Ristau, of Mansfield. One sister preceded him five years ago.

Funeral services for Arthur Dahme, of near Mina, who died Monday from injuries received in a train and automobile accident near Andover were held Thursday from St. John's Lutheran church preceded by a prayer at the Huebl Chapel.

More than 500 relatives and friends attended the last rites.

A high tribute was paid the deceased by Rev. F. T. Eggert, who conducted the service.

Mrs. John Kushman, Mrs. Albert Angerhofer, Mrs. F. W. Eggert, Edna Hering, Dorothy Angerhofer accompanied by Dorothy Bittmen, sang. Interment was in St. John's cemetery.

Pall bearers were: John Kushman, Paul Kushman, Charles Bartels, Wm. Rickert, Albert Angerhofer and Richard Angerhofer.
