FRANK SNYDER DIES AT ROCHESTER
HAS BEEN ILL FOR SIX MONTHS WITH CANCER OF THE STOMACH
Frank E. Snyder, a former well known resident of this city, died at Rochester Monday, February 11, at 10:30 a. m., after a short illness with cancer of the stomach. He had gone from his home at Minneapolis to Rochester for treatment at the Mayo hospital, but the doctors there were unable to do anything for him.
Mr. Snyder was born at Rochester on Sept. 24, 1872, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Snyder. He attended school at Waseca and later took up railroad work, which he followed most of his life.
He was married to Miss Lillian Wolters at Kasson, Minn., June 13, 1900. His wife, a son and daughter, his mother and several brothers and sisters survive him.
Mr. and Mrs. Snyder moved from Waseca to Minneapolis some years ago. For a time, they conducted a store there, and later Mr. Snyder again took up railroad work. He was in the employ of the C. M. & St. P. Ry. Co., when his last illness came on. Mr. Snyder was possessed of a jolly nature which quickly made him friends. He believed in radiating sunshine and good cheer wherever possible.
He was a member of the M. E. Church of this city and the funeral services were conducted there yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Miller officiating.
