James was the youngest child of Taylor and Jennie (Stover)Applebach (birth registration #68915). He was a twin, and they were born by C-section in Philadelphia, PA. He lived in various places of Lancaster County, PA until in his 20's when he "went West" and lived in Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, and finally Oregon.
He married Pauline Reba Garner on Sept. 1, 1957 in Lancaster, PA and they had 3 children - all still living. They divorced in June 1983.
Occupations: Construction worker, truck driver, school bus driver, used car salesman, country preacher.
Second marriage to Vada (Hout?? Scott??) in Montana in 1984 or 1985. They moved to Oregon in 1985. Vada died sometime since 2012 in Oregon. Per daughter Nancy she is buried with first husband.
