Mrs. Almyra Cooper, 52, wife of John H. Cooper, 1008 West Sixteenth St., died at Ball Memorial Hospital at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, following three weeks' illness. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Her husband is operator of the Cooper Food Market.
Surviving are the husband; the father, James Privett; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Newton; and six brothers, John Privett of Louisville, Ky., William Privett of Peoria, Ill., Blaine Privett of Frankfort, Ky., Lee, Newton and Hubert Privett, all of Muncie. A nephew, Ambrose Cooper, resides at the Cooper home.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Meeks Mortuary with the Rev. Clyde Westervelt in charge. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after noon Friday.
