Funeral services for Alline Allen Damron, 100, of Albany, KY were held on Friday, July 22, 2005 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Robertson and Bro. Jeffery Brown officiated, with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Ms. Damron passed away on Friday, July 22, 2005 at her residence in Kentucky. She was a retired florist and retailer, a member since 1945 at First Baptist Church of Albany.She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo "Lon" Bethel and Cora Taylor Allen; husband, John A. Damron; stepdaughter, Wanda Lee Damron Barnes; brother, Alonzo Allen and sister Audrey Allen. She is survived by a neice, Polly Allen Payne, and her husband, Joesph, of Georgia; a great-niece, Katherine Payne Hurst and her husband Branen of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Magdalene Allen of Smithville and two devoted caretakers: Micheal Harlan and Marie Grider of Ky. Serving as pallbearers were Richard and Paul Close; Branen Hurst; Hoyte Odom; Boyd Atnip and Micheal Harlan. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
