Mrs. Allen died Saturday October 5, 2002 in Clinch County Hospital in Albany, KY. She was a Homemaker and a member of Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lon and Cora Taylor Allen, brother Alonzo Allen, brother-in-law John Damron.
She is survived by her sister Alline Damron of Albany, KY, sister-in-law Magdelene Allen of Smithville, niece Polly and Joe Payne of Atlanta Georgia, and great niece Katherine and Branon Hurst of Chattanooga.
Serving as pallbearers were Richard Close, Steve Colvert, Tommy Webb, Tom Magness, Boyd Atnip, Danny Allen and Carl Gothard, and Hoyte Odom.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrange- ments.
