Esther Marie Mullaly, 94, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Turning Brook.
On May 31, 1918, Esther Kowalski was born in Alpena to the late William Kowalski and Mary (Seiss) Kowalski. She married Robert Mullaly on June 20, 1959, and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1996. Mrs. Mullaly was employed by the Health Department as a dental assistant.
Esther Mullaly was a member of the Alpena Garden Club, Besser Museum, and owned and operated the Besser House from 1987-1997.
Surviving were a daughter, Marie Perry of Northville; 2 grandchildren, Jill (Damian) Haworth of Northville, Dean (Jenny) Perry of Livonia; 3 great-grandchildren, Gavin Haworth, Colin Haworth, Olivia Perry; brother, Robert Kowalski of Alpena; sister, Frances Howick of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Ruth Hartman; and a brother, Elmer Kowalski.
