Services were Sunday at Our Lady of Help Catholic Church in Frankenstein for Hilda R. Samson, 82, of Frankenstein. The Rev. Peter Walsh conducted the funeral for Mrs. Samson, who died Friday at Green Meadows Health Care Center near Linn. Burial was in the Garden of Gethsemanie Cemetery at Frankenstein. Mrs. Samson was born Sep 10, 1915 in Osage Co. to J. Gus Kremer and the former Nellie Haslag. She was married twice at Frankenstein, 1st on Jun 12, 1937 to Frank B. Troesser, who died Dec 14, 1972 and 2nd on Jan 12, 1974 to Charles L. Samson, who died Mar 29, 1990. A homemaker and factory worker, she was a member of the local parish.

She is survived by eight sisters, Annie Backes, Betty Brandt and Sophia Backes, all of Linn, Johanna Thoenen, Pauline Thoenen, Martha Backes and Gertrude Broker, all of Frankenstein, and Josephine Roettgen of Jefferson City; a son, John A. Troesser of Frankenstein; two step-daughters, Mary Ann Wolfe of Bonnots Mill and Dorothy Hueste of Linn. Preceding her in death, in addition to both husbands, were a brother, Martin Kremer and a granddaughter.
