Edward was the child of Friedrich and Eva (Hoffman) Aman. As a small child he developed diphtheria during the epidemic and succumbed to it. He was buried on what was the Fred Aman farm near Eureka where his Grandmother, Fredricke Christina Weisz/Weiss is also buried. A combined headstone has been placed in the Eureka City Cemetery memoralizing both.
