He is buried in an unmarked grave.∼It always bothered me that there was no stone for James and Ellen Laverty, my great-great grandparents. I found out that since James was a Civil War Veteran, he was entitled to a Government issued head stone! Since they died on the same day, I was able to have Ellen's name put on the stone as well!! The stone was put up in 2016 - 107 years after they died.
