Mary was the youngest of 9 children born in 1874 Ohio. By age 30, the household was her widowed mother, brother James and sisters Emma and Helen. A beautiful young woman it is a wonder that Mary died at age 98 unmarried with no children of her own. She lived her life in the family home and no doubt her siblings, nieces and nephews filled her days. Mary Crawford was buried alongside her brother James Alexander Black in Washington Cemetery, PA.
