Murray C. "Butch" Klingensmith, 80, of Ford City, RD 3, died at 10 a.m. Monday at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1893, at Logansport, he was the son of Joseph and Nancy Klingensmith. He was retired from the Continental Clay Company. He was a member of the Homewood Baptist Church; the Ford City American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Eagles Club. Two sons, Charles and Clayton are deceased. Survivors include his wife, Rose E. (Rugh) Klingensmith; sons, Finley G. of Freedom and Ronald W. of Ford City; brothers, Lloyd of Ford City RD 3, Wilbur of Garretts Run, Oliver of Natrona Heights and Archie of Tarentum; sisters Mrs. Sarah Bash of Tarentum and Mrs. Walter (Ruby) Thickey of Natrona Heights; nine grandchildren; and two great grand-children. KLINGENSMITH - Friends of Murray C. "Butch" Klingensmith who died Oct. 22, 1973, are being received after noon today at the Frank M. Faykosh Funeral Home, Ford City. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Earl Watterson, pastor of the Manorville United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Have Burial Estates. Arrangements by Faykosh.
