There are six siblings in the household: Gabrel Asa, William W., Hettie C., Wright O [Owen], Reasin L. and Louella Sarah Smith. Louella is listed as a widow; she was married 25 Sep 1898 to Frank H. Johnson. It appears she took her maiden name back after his death. Lowry Smith is still farming to support the family.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR S.L. SMITH HELD SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Squire Lowry Smith, age 83 years, 8 months and 2 days died Saturday afternoon at four o'clock at the home of his son, Gabriel A. Smith in South Flora. Mr. Smith had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at the Hancock Chapel, with Rev. J.R. Hoy, pastor of the First Baptist Church in charge. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife and seven children.
