Brenda Brinson Walker, 63, passed away on Friday, May 31st, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Heart of Georgia Hospice Center in Perry. Funeral services will be held in Shirley Hills Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Born in Atlanta, GA on December 19th, 1949 to John W. and Billie Turner Brinson, Brenda graduated from Northside High School and Georgia Southern College. She was a retiree of the Houston County School System where she taught kindergarten and was a reading specialist. Many Warner Robins children have benefited from her dedication to her profession and her joy of engaging young minds. She was past president of the Warner Robins Jaycettes and a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. A lover of photography, Brenda has left behind a legacy in the many scrapbooks she lovingly created to preserve family treasures. She was preceded in death by her father John W. Brinson, Sr. and brother Stephen Earl Brinson.
