Mrs. Brinson was born January 5, 1925 in Dublin, GA to the late William H. Turner and Alma Barron Turner. She went to work civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she retired after over 20 years of service. Mrs. Brinson loved her church and was a faithful lifetime member of Northview United Methodist Church. In her free time, she loved to cook, work in her garden, and spend time with her family whom she adored. Mrs. Brinson was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, John Wesley Brinson Sr.; son, Stephen Earl Brinson; daughter, Brenda Brinson Walker; and sister, Ruby Potter.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her son, John Brinson Jr. (Ann) of Warner Robins; daughter, Kelly Brinson Wyatt (Tom) of Warner Robins; daughter in law, Beverly Brinson of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren, Steve Brinson (Tabitha), William Walker (Mayling), Brandi Desilets (Jeff), Wesley Walker, Candy Peronto (Pete), Kerri Thornton (Chip), Trea Brinson (Cayla), Amanda Coker (Binky), Russell Smith (Crystal), Katie Spell; and 24 great grandchildren, Ethan Brinson, Callie Rey Brinson, Hailey Walker, Belen Walker, Lauren Desilets, Stone Desilets, Trevor Forbis, Kinley Forbis, Mason Peronto, Libby Thornton, Boaz Thornton, Titus Thornton, Laz Thornton, Rilynne Brinson, Reagan Brinson, Reece Jane Brinson, River Brinson, Reese Coker, Paige Coker, Jacob Coker, Cort Smith, Brinsley Smith, Annie Smith, and Lincoln Smith.
