Avis M. Ringle, 79, passed away Nov. 13, 2014, at her home in Leon, Kan.
She was born, Aug. 14, 1935, in Salina, Kan. to Robert and Margaret (Mason) Pickering. Before moving to Leon in 2006, Avis lived most of her life in the Holyrood, Kan., area where she was a CNA with the Ellsworth Good Samaritan Society and member of the Ellsworth VFW Auxiliary.
She married Robert E. Ringle, Aug. 19, 1952, in Salina, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Keen.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Parsons Funeral Home with burial following in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
