Mabel Fangman was the daughter of Duane D. Locke, Sr. and Emma (Gray) Locke Uhlenbrock. Harvey and his wife were Mabel's next door neighbors for many years and were friends but after Harvey's wife died he moved away but some years later Mabel saw him on the street by chance and they talked and got together and eventually married.
