Floyd Bailey Dies at Greensburg
Floyd O. Bailey of Greensburg died February 18 at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, after a long illness. He was 73 years old.
Mr. Bailey was born January 27, 1911, at Webb City, Mo. He married Florence Hinkle July 8, 1933, at Wilmore. He was a clerk for Hildinger Lumber, Greensburg, and had been a lifetime Kiowa County area resident.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Greensburg.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter; four brothers, Oscar of Greensburg, Claude of St. Petersburg, Fla., Ivan of Bushton and Frank of Lewis; four sisters, Delphia Evans of Augusta, Mckelvia Neumann of Garden City, Margarette Spence of Lewis, and Katherine Evans of Lewis; one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held February 20 at Greensburg First Baptist Church with Rev. Deane Endicott officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg.
