Florence Margaret Bailey, 90, died Dec. 17, 2003, at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Feb. 28, 1913, in rural Kiowa County, the daughter of Lorenzo Christopher and Ethel Dean Moores Hinkle. A resident of Wilmore and Greensburg, she was a cosmetologist. She belonged to First Baptist Church, Greensburg.
On July 8, 1933, she married Floyd O. Bailey at Wilmore. He preceded her in death.
Survivors: daughter, Anna Dean Jones, Tulsa, OK; brothers, L. C. "Bud", Pratt, Phillip, Temple, TX, and Francis Hinkle, Wichita; sisters, Louella Bailey, Coldwater and Viola White, Pratt; granddaughter, Dana K. Jones, Tulsa, OK; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by infant daughter, Margaret May; and sisters, Alice Bailey and Delsie Dean Hinkle.
Service at 2:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Greensburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Fleener Funeral Chapel, Greensburg. Memorials to the church, Southwind Hospice or Kiowa County Memorial Hospital. (Taken from The Hutchinson News.)
