Honolulu - Richard A. Johnson, 60, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Dec. 23, 1995, at his home. He was born in Meriden, March 15, 1935 to the late Edward and Claudine (Liverman) Johnson. He graduated from Meriden High and from Ohio State University as a doctor of optometry. He had his practice in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline L. Johnson; a son, Scott; one stepdaughter, Sloane; two stepsons, Joshua and Britton; three sisters, Alberta Cottrell of Bristol, May Gwara of Meriden, and Ellen Kelley of Stamford; one brother, Edward Johnson of Rockford, Ill; two stepgranddaughers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Pierce, and a sister, Dorothy Kelleher.
