HARTFORD CITY – George Franklin Hall "Frank", 68, passed away at 11:22 p.m. May 20, 2013 at Albany Health & Rehabilitation Center in Albany, IN. He was born on January 29, 1945 in Carter County, Kentucky to George M. Hall and Nellie (Jordan) Hall. Both parents precede him in death. He served in the United States Air Force. Frank married Betty S. (Martin) Cavanaugh Hall on February 12, 1972 in Hartford City. He retired from McCammon Trucking after 39 years as an over the road truck driver. Frank was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Lighthouse Church. He was very active in the Blackford County 4-H program, where he served as a Fairboard Member and was involved in the Horse & Pony Club. He had been a member of the Pony Pulling Association in the 1960's. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty Hall of Hartford City; daughter, Jessie H. Hall (friend, Jim Holloway) of Poneto; sons, Daniel D. (wife, Jill E.) Hall of Redkey, IN; Christopher A. Cavanaugh of Hartford City; Erin E. Crane of Illinois; grandchildren, John Holloway, William Cavanaugh, Sean Cavanaugh, Devin Cavanaugh, Brittney Flick, Zach Cochran, McKenzie Hall, Codie Hall, Kira Crane, Corbin Crane; brother, Lloyd Kenneth (wife, Diane) Hall of Montpelier; several nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, son, James M. Hall, brothers, William R. Hall, Charles Hall, John M. Hall and Infant George Melvin Hall, sisters, Bualah Litteral, Anna Hess, Maxine Adkins, Norma Allen and Geraldine Hess. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High Street, Hartford City with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
