A sweet gentle first cousin to my father who lived in the Manning Avenue area of Sumter County during the 1940's and 50's. She had been severely burned by an electrical fire and wore a partial covering for her mouth and chin. As a child, I remember many pleasant visits to her home, along with my cousins.
