Troy "Red" Gaines passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 29, 1931 in Cumby to Arlie and Alice Keenan Gaines. He married Dorothy Jean Graham on May 12, 1973 in Cleburne.
Mr. Gaines worked as a parts manager for Hobb's Trailer Company, retiring with 40 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Gaines; three daughters, Judy Winter of Alvarado, Sheri Embry and husband Richard of Cleburne and Elisha Bourg of Rio Vista; stepson, Ralph "Bubba" Edwards; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three brothers, Cleo Gaines, Audie Ray Gaines, and Kenneth Gaines; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Nadine Gaines; brother, Bobby Gaines; and a stepson, Michael Edwards.
