He was in all the principle battles that were fought in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. He was at the Battles of Monmouth, Brandy Wine, Stony Point, Germantown and lastly was present at the ever memorable surrender of Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown.
