The death of Arthur Bouton, 72, local carpenter, occurred suddenly Wednesday afternoon, June 2, at the home of Mrs. S. Kidder Hand's camp on East Lake Road.
He was born January 29, 1882, in the Town of Exeter, the son of Horace Bouton and Hanner Marble Bouton. His entire life was spent in this vicinity.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Elvira Miller of Oneonta and a step grandson, Clifford Judd of Middleville. Also cousins, Thorton and David Marble of Laurens, Mrs. Eva Platt and James Roberts of Oneonta and Erastus and Frank Bouton of Oaksville.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock from McGrath's Funeral Home with burial in the Schuyler Lake Cemetery.
