Iona. Minn., the son of Julian
and Katharina Collins Kappes,
he was a Catholic and retired
from the Chicago police
department in 2964 [1964].
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs Dorothy Booth Kappes of
the home; three brothers.
Lawrence and Robert, both of
Forsyth. Mo and James of
Berwyn. Ill . a sister, Mrs
Berme McKinney of San
Ramon. Calif and one grand
child
Mass will be celebrated IO
a rn. Friday in the chapel of
Brashears Funeral Home
Burial will be in Venus
