Mrs. Agnes Bird Taken By Death; Rites Thursday
Mrs. Agnes Marie Bird, 57, wife of Edward Bird, 425 E. Third St., died yesterday at 3:15 p.m. in King's Daughters Hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Bird was a life resident of Madison. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality.
She is also survived by three sons and a daughter, John J. and Thomas Bird, of this city; Paul, of Eminence, Ky., and Carroll, at home; six grandchildren; a brother, Sebastian T. Sheets, St. Louis, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Ackerman and Mrs. Rita Lopez, both of Madison.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's church, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery. A Rosary service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Vail Memorial. Friends may call at the memorial after noon tomorrow.
