Daniel Boone, 67, of Hayti, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Missouri Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born December 26, 1938 in Portageville, he was the son of Edyth Rolie Zook and the late Claude Boone.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael David Boone and one sister, Wilma Jean Boone.
Daniel was united in marriage to Judy Potts on July 7, 1967 in Hayti. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2000.
He was a chemical salesman for Royster Clark of Union City, Tenn., before his retirement.
Mr. Boone leaves one daughter, Angela Boone; two sons: Michael Boone and his wife Lisa and Brian Boone and his wife Amber; two grandchildren: Gabriel Boone and Hannah Boone; his mother: Edyth Zook Boone; and one sister, Ina Sue Boone.
Funeral services for Mr. Boone were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Holland Baptist church in Holland with Bro. John Dunavant officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of services.
Pallbearers were Laurence Chidester, Shannon Chidester, Barry Barkovitz, Johnnie Shirley, Bobby Watkins and Josh Romhilt.
