Judy Ann Boone, 58, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Ark. She was born June 27, 1942, in Holland, the daughter of the late Murry and Ruby M. Bowman Potts.
She was a teacher in the Hayti Public School until she retired in 1988 due to ill health.
She was united in marriage July 7, 1967, to Norvil Daniel Boone in Hayti.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Boone of Hayti; one daughter, Angelia Boone of Hayti; two sons, Michael Boone, of Cape Girardeau and Brian Boone of Hayti; one sister, Mrs. Linda Young of Cooter; two grandchildren, Gabriel Boone and Hannah Boone, both of Hayti; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Services were held Wednesday July 12, 2000, 2 p.m., at the Baptist Church in Holland, with Rev. John Earl Dunavant officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
