Nellie V. Burton of Somerset, Kentucky, died after a six-month illness. She was 81 years old.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene.
She was survived by her children, Arnold D. Burton of Boswell, Indiana, Denzil R. Burton of Lexington, Kentucky, Alma Jones of Glasgow, Kentucky, Eva Jones of Amhurst, Ohio, and Erdean Cain of Sterling Heights, Michigan; her brothers, Claude Muse of Somerset, Kentucky and Lonnie Muse of Somerset, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Taylor and Mollie (Tarter) Taylor; and her husband, Reverend Croley C. Burton (married May 5, 1912).
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 25, 1974 at the First Church of Nazarene with Reverend A.A. Farris and Reverend John Hodge officiating.
Somerset Undertaking Company was in charge of arrangements.
