William S. Harruff, Toledo, formerly of Lima and one-time operator of a grocery store here, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Hospital, Toledo. He had been ill six months.
Mr. Harruff moved to Toledo in 1935 and formerly was employed by the National Supply Company.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Virgil, Toledo, and two daughters, Mrs. Leo Altenbaugh and Mrs. Jane Owen, both of Toledo; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Garver Funeral Homer, Toledo, with burial in Ottawa Hills Cemetery. (The Lima News, Lima, Ohio, April 30, 1953, page 2).
