Virgil V. Harruff, 56, or Maumee, a former Lima resident, died Sunday in a Toledo hospital after a short illness.
He was employed as plant superintendent of Strong Electric Corporation, Toledo.
Born November 1, 1910 in Lima, he was the son of William and Anna Harruff. His wife, Helen survives, in addition to two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Rice and Miss Vicki Harruff, both of Lima and two sisters, Mrs. Corrine Altenbach and Mrs. Jane Moor, both of Toledo.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Maisson-Dardenne Funeral Home, Maumee. Burial will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Toledo. (The Lima News, Lima, Ohio, August 28, 1967, page 4).
