Mr. Alexander moved from Wilson, to Ardmore, six weeks ago. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Miss Bernice Alexander and Mrs. John Smithers; and three sons, Dan, Ernest, and Bill.
The funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church, at Wilson, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Eual Lawson, officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Nichols. G.G. Childers, Ed McClain, E.A. Stringer, R.R. Gandy, and T.H. Jones, were pallbearers.
Interment was in the Hewitt cemetery, with the Richeson Funeral Home, in charge.
